In 2005, the club’s football department was spun off into TSG 1899 Hoffenheim Fußball-Spielbetriebs GmbH, based in Zuzenhausen.

In 2005, the club’s football department was spun off into TSG 1899 Hoffenheim Fußball-Spielbetriebs GmbH, based in Zuzenhausen. The men’s first professional team has played in the Bundesliga since 2008/09. Their home matches are staged in Sinsheim at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena, now the PreZero-Arena, which opened in January 2009. Before that, Hoffenheim played at the Dietmar Hopp Stadium in Hoffenheim and the Carl-Benz-Stadion in Mannheim. The Rhein-Neckar or PreZero Arena officially holds 30,150 spectators.
